Description:
  • Administer, coordinate, schedule and record training for over 1100 HAL contract service personnel using CHAMP, PC and hard copy records. Ensures CHAMP and hard copy records are up to date, accurate and complete.
  • Develops, maintains and distributes training status records for specific jobs classifications, initiates monthly and 3-month training calendar for department.
  • Assists in-house/contract training instructors in preparation of training materials, scheduling classroom and training equipment; enrolls students for class and prepares class roster.
  • Makes travel arrangements for instructors to include per diem, room and hotel.
  • Conducts day to day administrative tasks to include answering in coming calls, typing, copying, organizing, filing, stocking of office/training supplies. Initiate purchase orders when necessary.
  • Responsible for continuity on training issues and their completion with both internal and external organization with direction from training manager.
  • Prepare and write publication change requests, update assigned manuals, notify instructor/manager of discrepancy existing in GMM.

Hawaiian Airlines Hiring Ramp Agents in Kona

Hawaiian airlines is looking for part-time ramp agents to work at the Kona airport.

Job description:

• Loading, stowing and unloading of all cargo and baggage in accordance with flight loading plans • Pick up and delivery of all cargo, including mail, express, baggage, freight Company material, commissary supplies • Preparation, reporting and accounting of necessary documents relating to work performed • Cleaning of aircraft baggage pits and immediate work areas • Operation of automotive equipment in connection with the above duties, and only after proper training • Insert and remove chocks and safety lines • When mechanical personnel are not immediately available for the assignment, receive and dispatch aircraft • May also be required to perform the duties of Cleaners: limited to cleaning of offices in surrounding areas and aircraft. Such duties may be assigned only as the needs of the service require. • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Must have an acceptable driving record as evidenced by a traffic abstract. • Must have physical ability to perform above duties, including lifting up to 70 lbs. • Must be able to obtain proper restricted area clearances (AOA) • Must have good customer relation skills. • Must have a good command of the English language. • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
