FULL TIME RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE
Maui's Organic Ocean Vodka has an opening for a full-time in-house retail sales associates.
We are looking for professional, sales-oriented team players to service guests in our gift shop at our organic farm and distillery in Kula. The ideal candidate will have relevant retail sales experience and thrive in a customer service environment where establishing rapport and educating customers are the goals. You might come from another industry, but if you have a high level of customer service, sales knowledge, are familiar with organic farming culture and the wine and spirits industry we would like to meet you.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide all guests with an educational, fun and memorable experience
• Sell spirits and merchandise in a gracious manner consistent with our brand essence
• Welcome customers on property
• Answer the telephone in a pleasant manner following Hawaii Sea Spirits LLC standards
• Communicate general information about the farm and distillery to entice guests to participate in a tour
• Book Tour and Sampling reservations
• Processes Tour and Sampling guest check-ins
• React to all concerns of customers quickly with a sense of importance
• Uphold predefined customer service standards
• Communicate information regarding product availability
• Communicate information regarding ingredients and nutritional information to guests
• Handle cash, change and operate the cash register
• Maintain knowledge of all products sold at the gift shop
• Maintain cleanliness of store.
• Ensure stock levels on the sales floor are maintained continually
• Organize merchandise pricing, signage and coding
• Participate in counting store's physical inventory as scheduled
• Maintain cleanliness of employee restrooms and adequate stock of employee restroom supplies
• Effectively and efficiently communicate needs with supervisor
• Prepare sugar cane samples
• Maintain freezer and refrigerated items at a secure and satisfactory level
• Monitors customers regularly to help the store in loss prevention
• Must be available to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, approximately 6-8 hours per day on 4-5 days per week

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on an intermittent basis
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
