POSITION SUMMARY: Supports hospital and satellites in a rols as phlebotomist. Assists with other duties as defined by the specific needs of the work areas such as accessioning, test processing, equipment maintenance, registration.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.
MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE: Recordkeeping skills with clear verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to read and correctly interpret technical reports and manuals.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Certification of completion of KCC phlebotomy program and/or National Certication as a phlebotomist. Certification in Phlebotomy preferred.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as a phlebotomist and/or Lab Aide/Assistant preferred.
