We are currently seeking FT , PT, and On Call Security Officers:
The position of Security Officer holds the responsibility of enforcing procedural rules and regulations. Ensure the safety of staff, visitors, residents, and property. This position reports to the Security Supervisor, or the Patrol Supervisor.
Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge of safety and security equipment, procedures, and strategies to promote effective protection of people and property
- Basic knowledge of the structure and the content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling or words, rules of composition, and grammar
-Must have knowledge of the basic typing and computer skills.
-Must have knowledge of the basic computer software. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Required Skills
- Use of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including Customer/Client service needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and customer satisfaction
- Active Listening , giving full attention to what others are saying and taking the time to understand the points being made
- Speaking and Writing , communicating effectively to convey information to others
- Critical thinking , using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
-Must be able to travel to various locations on Oahu
Experience, Education, and Formal Training
- High School level of education
- General Security work experience
-Must have clean criminal background
